One of my all time favorite composers. Love his fugues, best listened to in church via organ.

Quite simply the greatest composer ever. The Well Tempered Clavier alone is a defining moment in the development of the keyboard & keyboardists' technique. The quality of Bach's work is astonishing and his ouput of works for cello, violin, organ, harpsichord, lute, piano & orchestra is monumental. His Art of Fugue is just pure magic & "is often cited as the summation of polyphonic techniques".
To be able to play some of his work has given me great joy & taught me things I hardly guessed at :D

I'VE PLAYED BACH IN MY EARLY YEARS....AND I STILL LOVE IT..

He's the best. I just wish he'd written more chamber music! Hundreds of cantatas and organ music I have to be in a certain mood to listen to.

I typically listen to Bach when I have a paper to write.

A bit of quality classical music soothes the soul.

Bach is the best of the best. In fact, he stands alone in the pantheon of absolute music, crossing time and space.

Right now listening to 24/7 Bach: J.S. Bach Joseph Payne French Suite # 4 in E flat. :D
