Time for a little summery music. I think I shall start with a little John Denver. Country Roads seem like a good option.

I have a lot of his albums, cassettes, and CDs--excellent sound, never disappointed with his music. Too bad he died so young.

His music is relaxing!! His voice is soothing!!!

I went to my very FIRST JOHN DENVER CONCERT in 1968 -- he did a benefit performance for a gymnast who was injured quite seriously while competing in his very first pre-olympic trial event. The gymnast was a student at the U of Minnesota and was paralyzed from the neck down as a result of the accident. It was so sad. BUT the GOOD NEWS WAS that John's concert raised a TON OF MONEY and not only did it help Gymnast X, it helped bring attention to the dangers involved and the need for super vigilance when performing. Gymnast X remains paralyzed today, however, he has now been married to the same woman since 1973 -- and she continues to drive them to as many places as they can possibly go in their specially adapted van with its own 'domed sun roof'. Gymnast X is 6'4" tall--so the dome is a necessity, not necessarily a luxury. oh and PS I HAVE BEEN IN LOVE WITH JOHN since that very first moment he said 'HI THERE'-looked around at this huge crowd and said 'whoa-a lotta people r here -FAR OUT!'
