Patrick Watson (born 1979) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, whose blend of cabaret pop and classical music influences with indie rock has been compared to Rufus Wainwright and Jeff Buckley. Born in California but raised in Hudson, Quebec, Watson began his musical career in high school as a member of the ska band Gangster Politics.
His band's song "ÂThe Great Escape"Â was featured on a third-season episode of "Grey's Anatomy".
