Description

Son of Dork is a UK <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/pop%20punk" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">pop punk</a> band formed by <a href="http://www.last.fm/music/James+Bourne" class="bbcode_artist">James Bourne</a> after his previous band, Busted split in January 2005. Their debut single, "<a title="Son of Dork – Ticket Outta Loserville" href="http://www.last.fm/music/Son+of+Dork/_/Ticket+Outta+Loserville" class="bbcode_track">Ticket Outta Loserville</a>", was released in November <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/2005" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">2005</a>, reaching #3 on the UK Top 75. Second single, "<a title="Son of Dork – Eddie's Song" href="http://www.last.fm/music/Son+of+Dork/_/Eddie%27s+Song" class="bbcode_track">Eddie's Song</a>", reached #10 in January <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/2006" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">2006</a>. On July 11th <a href="http://www.last.fm/tag/2007" class="bbcode_tag" rel="tag">2007</a> band member David Williams took over the bands myspace page announcing that son of dork had split up, however this was deemed untrue. Despite no word of a Son of Dork split, near to all members are working on solo projects (Steve is now signed to Hollywood Records) suggesting that Son of Dork's career is over.
