It even has more meaning as I get older and go through the en and flow of life. Two years ago my husband got a new aorta. It was a frightening time as it is a complicated procedure and we both new he might not make it. When you build your life around someone for two decades, it is hard to imagine life any other way. Of course, this is part of all our lives. Whether it is a spouse, parent, child or best friend.
