Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush make up country duo Sugarland who exploded onto the music scene in '04 with Twice The Speed Of Life ("Baby Girl", "Something More"). Enjoy the Ride ("Want To", "Settlin" and "Stay") quickly followed in '06. Their third studio album Love On The Inside ("It Happens", "Love", "All I Want To Do", "Already Gone") was released July 08 and skyrocketed them to superstardom, drawing fans from all genres and critics abroad.
Sugarland is credited with co-writing all tracks from all three albums and co-producing the last two. In 2010 they performed in six European countries, and are now headlining a U.S. tour that runs thru the fall. They've sold over 8 million records, received trophies from the Grammy's ["Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals" ("Stay"), "Best Country Song" ("Stay"-Nettles) and "Best Country Collaboration with Vocals" ("Who Says You Can't Go Home" w/ Bon Jovi-Nettles)], American Music Awards, Academy of Country Music, CMT Music Awards and the Country Music Association.
They recently performed for the Presidential Inauguration and on Oprah.
Sugarland's Aug. 4, 2009, release LIVE ON THE INSIDE (a live CD/DVD set) topped both the country and Top 200 sales charts and their August 3rd ABC television network special delivered as well, drawing in more than 4 million viewers.
They followed by later releasing their first ever holiday CD, GOLD AND GREEN.
On July 26, the duo released "Stuck Like Glue," the lead single from their upcoming album, THE INCREDIBLE MACHINE. The album was released on Oct.
19th and debuted at #1 on both Billboard's Top 200 all-genre chart and the current country chart, besting releases by Kings of Leon, Elton John and Leon Russell's collaboration, Rod Stewart and Lil Wayne, which round out the Top 5 of the Top 200 respectively.
