One word that Nugent can't be labelled with is subtle. He exemplifies every excess of the rock and roll lifestyle. His lyrics tell of fast cars, flowing booze and willing women - believe me "Saddle Sore" has nothing to do with riding the range and "Snake Charmer" bears no reference to Indian fakirs!

There is a lot of noteworthy material in "Bite Down Hard", "Alone" and "It Doesn't Matter" as well as the aforementioned tracks.
