I enjoyed this. There's some overlap from Daniel's first book "A Whole New Mind". If I had to chose between the two, I'd go with this one. His TED talk on this offers good insight into what this book is all about.

The content of this book is 100% Gary. If you follow him online, you've already heard him talk about most of what's in here (except you do get some insight into how he got started and his life). His message is clear - The details of the technology doesnt matter nearly as much as passion and hustle. Know your DNA, niche yourself, get out there on every platform that matters and differentiate yourself with effort. The book is short - only 140 pages, so you fly through it. If you can, get the Crush IT VOOK so you get Gary on video throughout too.

This book is definitely worth the read. It shines in the final chapters. What I loved about this book was the breadth of emotional, financial and logistical scenarios it covers. You get a great sense of all of the things you need to consider before taking the leap to self employment, which is exactly what I was looking for when I picked this up. This isn't so much a manual for how to start a business, it's a primer for all the stuff you need to be aware of before you start the journey.

Finally finished Sway. Definitely worth the read. Tons of info that'll help you make good decisions right when your mind is about to trick you into making bad ones.

There are moments of brilliance in this book - ideas that I've never heard before about how human networks impact our lives.

Fantastic book outlining exactly why "we are what we click". This'll definitely get your brain buzzing.

A little heavy on the math, and overly light on the psychology, but overall very good. I was impressed with the coverage of fundamentals.

Finished "A Whole New Mind" this morning. @DanielPink is right on the money. Plus great resources in each chapter.

The only productivity book you'll ever need. Pick your goals, limit to the essential activities, tweak till you get it right. Repeat.

Bought this at Web2.0Expo in SF in 2009. This is a great place to start if you want to figure out what really makes the current web tick.

One of the most important books to be released in 08 if you're into sustainability development and design.

Cried 5 times reading this. If you read this you have got to check out the actual lecture on YouTube. Adds a lot of depth to the experience.

I read this while on vacation in Napa. An excellent 30 min read. Not worth the $16 I paid, but eloquent, insightful and moving.

Looking forward to reading this. I've been following Dan ever since his first few studies of RT's. He's a sharp guy. This looks promising.

If you're not familiar with the work of John Rawls, you should be. His "Theory Of Justice" is a must read.
