Did you know finger limes are the new culinary darling? Their insides are tiny capsules that burst with juice. From Australia they are now being cultivated in So California. Chefs are using them like caviar in cocktails, sauces and desserts.

It is a lime... not a pretty lime but a line nonetheless.

One serving....

2 oz gin
5 oz tonic water
1 lime wedge

Pour the gin and the tonic water into a highball glass almost

when I am really thursty nothing is better than squeesing some lime juice then dropping it in to a cok or pepsi with ice!

I was just reading that limes make your skin photo-sensitive. The reaction may occur days afterwards, and looks like little fingerprint or streaked sunburns, except in really extreme cases.

yesterday i was in the market and instead of lime/lima the text said "capirinha's lemon". it made me smile.
