trying to figure out myPLEX connection

Dad dropped directv and got this. I like except for they don't have trutv or tlc

Just set up my Roku 2 XD. Such a pretty, & clear picture. Loving it :)

get roku but please dont get rid of cable get there basic so you have at least your local weather in case of emergencies

Finally gave in and got a Roku2, our first step into getting rid of cable. Love it so far.

Canceled the 3 DVD $15/month account and got the $8/month Unlimited.

First impressions of the new top of the line Roku 2 player, compared to my AppleTV 2:
The AppleTV is MUCH easier to set-up and program.
Sime of the b and c-level "channels" on the Roku are deceptively paid channels, not to mention, a bit cheesy. There is good stuff on the Roku, but you have to search for it.
Although the AppleTV appears to have less content, it's all easy to use, and it's all top-tier.

Looking at the different Roku players online. I think I'm about to make the purchase. :)

Suggestions? Tips?

i bought one of these 2 weeks ago and i love it, im hooked on Netflix streaming, i also downloaded the remote control app for it.

The IPAD2 app version of this works *great*. It also easier to deal with than the Ant Man remote that comes with the Roku and should work on all my Apple mobile devices. Kewl!

Installed my Roku tonight. My hubby is loving all the scary movies. Pretty neat gadget!

Good. But some of the Hulu shows are web only and that's annoying.

Just picked this up today as the latest in a list of recent toys. Heard good things about it. We'll see. Will write a real review if it works out and doesn't let me down

Thinking about getting one for the tv in the bedroom. All the reviews about it have been good, still not sure if I'm gonna get one though.
