FanI hear since I'm a new member I get to use Amazon Prime. What does that actually mean and how do I use it? Where do I go on my Kindle Fire?
-
MikeyMo @thmslake Amazon prime means you get free shipping from amazon, can read a free book a month, and get to watch anything amazon streams for free kind of like Netflix. -
Thomas Lake @mikeymo78 doesn't sound worth $80 a year

FanThe other thing Amazon really needs to do is to make it easier to delete items from the 'carousel' and 'favorites'. Had to go thru and individually delete all the notations for all the books I have... more
-
Thomas Lake I just hold my finger on it till a small menu pops up and the choose remove/ delete from carousel/ favorites -
Pfyre @thmslake that's how I do it as well BUT it has to be done for each and every individual 'entry' on the 'carousel' [and in 'favorites'] and as I said I have HUNDREDS of books in my amazon acct - it took forever to clear out the damned carousel

Can someone walk me threw the steps of connecting/ making friends with two Kindle Fires so they can share/ lend books?
-
Jennifer Callanan To lend someone a book you just need their amazon email address and vice versa -
Pfyre also if the two Kindle Fires share the same Amazon acct of course they share all the purchased books, videos, etc. handy for families, etc.

Jennifer Callanan @thmslake it's a website where you can post the books you own for lending and get paid for the lend, the more books you post the more books you can borrow from the site (if the book is available) -
Jennifer Callanan I have over 3000 books posted - have earned $30, and have over 1000 lends that I can borrow -
Thomas Lake @scaper2685 when I get my Kindle Fire today you'll have to walk me threw it
