You know the male cares for the egg in bitter freezing weather while the female goes out and hunts her food. When she returns, they trade the egg, hopefully it is unbroken and she has enough body fat to now feed the baby. Then the male goes to the ocean to eat and when they return, they all go to the ocean until the next mating season. It is really fascinating and you can only hope the penguins don't get eaten by seals and such. Enjoy Antarctica wildlife this week

Found something huge buried in the ice today near the circular cravasse. The team & I decided to dig it out and take it back to base camp. I mean... what could possibly go wrong there?
