After #8 & 9 I'm really starting to like this book a lot! The story of the Others is impressive, fleshing out a new back history for Arthur & Reis' artwork is stellar!

Issue #9: Interesting twist at the end--I really wouldn't call it a "shocker" just unexpected-- and quite honestly, I don't know if I like it.

New 52 No. 7 on comixology. I swear Arthur hair was blowing in the wind when pulling the trawler. Great art in this title. Cool storyline set up.

Reading Issue 1 (new 52)

Just finished Aquaman #7. Funny how Goeff Johns has managed to turn Aquaman into a charming yet convincing badass, demonstrating that one doesn't have to be a brooding sad-sack to be taken seriously.

#1. My first Aquaman issue I've ever read. He seems like a cool character.

I love the fact that this is one of the best comics being published right now.

Aw man... Is this back to pre-BrightestDay continuity where Aquaman didn't know Mera's primary mission? Blegh. This kinda stuff is starting to wear on me a lil.

I picked up issue #6 - "Deserted" featuring Mera, this afternoon. The art by Joe Prado looks great. I'll be reading it in the next day or so.
