I heard Australians love McDonald's. That's strange and interesting to me.

Zoe Johnson @behbiichibal there is no variety. We have maccas, hungry jacks (which is burger king), chicken treat, red rooster, kfc and subway. And that's it really. There is quite a few now but if you live in a remote part of one of the states, then you have to travel into a bigger town to get anything. Hahahah do you guys not call it maccas? -
Chival N. Lol hahah no we call it McDonald's or just Mickey D's. Quite boring, really. -
Zoe Johnson @behbiichibal yeah we say Mickey D's too but maccas is better :)

Read "Beware of the Bunyip!" to my Boys today. We loved that the baby & mother were reunited & surprised by the tribespeople's transformation.

Raw Annie @veewi easily believable if you think about the Australian animals that can't decide what they want to be (hullo, platypus lol). The bunyip appears as a mix between a sea cow & a bull dog & a few other things :) It's a neat legend! -
veewi When you mentioned it I thought it WAS a real, living thing. Had to google it to discover it's only a mythical creature. Still sounds pretty cool. It brings to mind the loch ness monster, although there are very few similarities between the two (from what I understand, at least). -
Raw Annie @veewi O_o what do you mean!? ;) I'm one of those people who hope and hope that such things exist. Because I take being a goober seriously lol

I want to have an Australian accent. Best thing ever. Would it be weird if I started to talk in one?
-
@MsShutterbugg @behbiichibal OMG I can't do it. I used to do a decent English accent but I've lost it. I can only do Spanish and Indian accents. I sooo wish I could use an English accent at work, I'd sound so cool and exotic in the office. 😜 -
Chival N. @CocoBluu Right?! I used to do a pretty chipper British accent myself but I've also lost it! Oh the woes of losing accents! Now I can only do an Indian one. I always start out pretty well with Scottish, Australian and other kind of accents and then somehow...it always turns into an Indian accent! *is perplexed*. So I've resigned that that's all I can do. I agree, the reason why I want to have an accent is because it sounds soo cool and exotic. I want to be foreign and exotic too! lolol. -
Adrienne I think it would be funny, do it for a whole day and post reactions!!
