Why is autism represented on GG with a picture of rainman?? WTH? You could have found a nice puzzle piece to represent the autism community!

My 5yr old finally seems to be sleeping through the night...15 nights of going to bed before midnight instead of between 3 & 5am. : -) Now if I could get myself back on schedule. :-)

It frustrates me that the pic is of rain man. I don't know why it bothers me so much.

I work with an autistic guy named Stephen, and he's one of the sweetest people I've ever met. He goes around the office in the morning, saying hi to everyone, asking them the same questions he always does, telling them what outrageous score he got in some football videogame last night (it's his secret, that he sometimes uses cheat codes), and tells them all, one at a time, that they're his favorite person.
