Batwoman just dropped on Digital (Comixology) as well as Suicide Squad, Batman & Robin, & a few other issues (I mostly read the Bat line of books from DC), artwork was superb as usual. I haven't read them all yet, I did read this & Suicide Squad last night & this was the better of the two releases so far this week in terms of art & writing (SS is starting to weaken IMHO - the art was a bit weaker, looked rushed & nothing was tied up, anticlimactic, I suspect #9 will tie up some of the loose ends).

Giving it another try. Glad I did. :) the art work is just too pretty. Lol

Tried out Batwoman #1 today on impulse. . . these layouts are INSANE but a bit too distracting. Anyone wanna convince me to pick up 2?

Been reading Batwoman 'The New 52!' series. So far read #s 1 to 6!! Really great story and graphics!!!

A lotta hype about this one... and a loooong wait! I preordered #1 nearly 2 years ago! lol Reading #1-#4 of Batwoman, the 1st mainstream lesbian superhero with her own title. Killer art in this one, good enough to purchase for that point alone! Plus, this is actually one of the darkest Bat Family titles.

I am catching up on my Batwoman. I'm starting from the beginning.

Issue #3. I like Kate Kane, but that's about it. Rest of the characters are uninteresting and the story has gone nowhere for 2 issues. And I really hat all the 2 page spreads they use.

Now that I've read the five-part Hydrology arc I can officially say that I did not like the La Llorona/Weeping Woman plot. At all. On the positive side, the characters' complex and precarious relationships, as well as Williams' gorgeous art, made the arc a cool, often engaging read. (And I can't dislike a series with BAMFs Kate/Batwoman, Maggie Sawyer, and Cameron Chase sharing panels.) I am so looking forward to the magnificent Amy Reeder's arc! (She and J.H. Williams are rotating art duties for the series.)

She's flippin awesome. I really dug her in detective comics. Miss that time.

Batwoman #3. The art is still absolutely amazing, and I'm loving the character development.
