Cold....not feeling well and it is raining out

Why do we feel safe under blankets? It's not like a murderer will come in thinking, "I'm gonna kill-aah f*ck! She's under a blanket!"

The picture makes me sad as I have no one to snuggle up with anymore :-(

Some baby's have a security blanket or doll that they must keep around all the time. My son loves all 7 (a rough estimate) of his super soft baby blankets equally. I don't know why I sometimes forget that he should NOT see what-so-ever me putting them in the washing/dryer machine. The little guy think's I'm throwing them away and has a mini meltdown :-/
