After a vacation in copenhagen my BR collection got 55 movies and 1 season of a show bigger. The collection is getting close to 250 now

I have been finding blu-rays in thrift stores and garage sales already. I snatch them up whenever I see them. Recently I found Monster Squad at a garage sale for $2. Love it!

Gurudownloading new digital and ultraviolet digital copies from recently purchased blu rays. I love when they offer these.

I love Blu-ray discs. They are soo good, when they work that is. I've got Gnomeo & Juliette, & I still can't play the Blu-ray disc. Very annoying. The updates are soo slow.

SC Headbanger No, but all regular DVD's will play on a Blu-ray Player. It'll even up convert them for a better picture. -

I don't like trying to choose a Blu-Ray player. I know nearly nothing about electronics.

Fernando Casanova As far as a good player I think you can't beat a PS3 if you want to play games or movies it does it all. Also you could try www.cnet.com for reviews on players. But as far as a cheap player PS3 would be a first great player I think. -

The Avenging Fidel J. @dabots The two Dragon Tattoo movies of course have similarities, but they each have a different tone, and look. and the actresses playing Lisbeth approach the role quite differently. I'm not sure if one is any better than the other, but for me i like Fincher's new version more as a whole, but I really dig Noomi Rapace's acting in the Swedish version.

Slowly building the Blu-ray library. Loving that the classic flicks are not too hateful on price! $7-$12 is SWEET!

Zoe Johnson @SCHeadbanger I can't tell much difference with the sound, but definitely with the picture! The up scaling of ordinary DVDs is awesome!

SC Headbanger @zoejohnson93 Are you using a surround sound system? I can hear the subtle sounds better, & the bass is deeper on my setup. This is with a Blu-ray DVD vs a regular DVD upconverted I'm speaking of.
