Here's the extent of my knowledge: It's on December 26 and it's celebrated in the UK and Canada. These are my assumptions about what it might be: It probably happens in Australia. It has nothing to do with pugilism. It's when everyone boxes up their Christmas decor to store for next year. It's another excuse to feast or get drunk. Businesses in those countries that celebrate it have sales geared toward it. It's when you clean up the trash from opening gifts. A day when you give gifts to less fortunate people. It has nothing at all to do with Christmas aside from being the following day. None of these things are based on any actual research I have done, but I will now go to Wikipedia to dispel my ignorance once and for all. However, I'd love to hear comments from others who DON'T know what it is either.
