I'm doing brisket 2ways (like they always do dishes on Top Chef). Any suggestions for a wine that will compliment smoked brisket and brisket braised in a mushroom au jus?

Well, the smoked Brisket was marvelous tonight for dinner.. It was seared on alll sides and so tender & juicy....... my grill master man gets 6 starts!

While the turkey is cooking, finishing up all the desserts & salads, the men are outside smoking the brisket swapping lies & drinking some hot coffee & cold beer!! Glad I am insisde!!

I've never made brisket before. Started one on the stovetop less than an hour ago, and my apartment already smells amazing.

Had one of these bad boys in the slow cooker since this morning. Should be nice for when I get home!
