Exit!! We're almost there...couldn't wait to pull up into the dimly lit sandy driveway. Grandma's kitchen light would be on..she would be waiting on us...the Hernandez kids...as we exited the car, she would walk out to greet us with open arms wearing her apron and her sweet smile...Grandma Concha (short for Concepcion). After the initial hugs and kisses, she would show us in and the aroma of her cooking would fill the air. At theand table were seven plates and on the stove a pot of arroz and another of frijoles and yet another huge one of tamales..."time to eat" ...Manana...there is work to do...in the Cherry tomato orchard...her little piece of land...the land o...
