Children of Earth is the banner title of the third series of the British science fiction television series Torchwood, which is due to be broadcast from 20 July 2009 on BBC America. The air date is set to coincide with the launch of BBC America's HD simulcast. As BBC America intends to air it concurrently with the UK broadcast, this is the expected airdate in the UK as well.

It is a miniseries of five episodes due to be aired across one week. Having started on the BBC's digital-only BBC Three channel and moving to BBC Two in series 2, the third series will air on BBC One. The serial is about a government who struck a deal in the 1960s with an alien race and the consequences of it - something that will affect all the children on Earth.

It features CGI aliens called The 456 who are introduced in the third episode. The story further establishes the relationship between Jack and Ianto and how Gwen and Rhys cope with married life around Torchwood "as [Rhys] potentially becomes the fourth member of the team."
