Busy day working on events calendar

Estoy customizando los css de la web pero tengo un poco de lio sobre donde definir los estilos con tanta herencia, algún buen tutorial sobre ello?

Estructurando los campos de los distintos tipos de datos. ¿Alguien sabe si se pueden agrupar varios campos para incluirlos en diferentes tipos de contenidos?
