Dominick D'Aniello Bring water almost to a boil. Break egg into a cup. Stir water into a whirlpool, and pour the egg into the center. It pulls itself together. Then let it cook, and take out with a slotted spoon.
I didn't mess with vinegar, or an ice bath or all that other crap your suposed to do. Came out fine :) -
Richard Hemmer I had a poached egg experiment phase a while back. I tried the egg in foil trick, which wasn't really much better than the method you described. What sauce is this, btw? Hollandaise? -
