My sons have been watching a beginner DVD showing u how to play, they don't have a clue what's going on, looks so complicated

Fingers hurt again. Now that I have two guitars, shay played with me.

Played until my fingers couldn't take it any more. I need to trim the finger nails.

Watching my son try to learn the opening riff to Iron Man.

My son's instructor was kind enough to show me several power chords tonight. The rocking is about to begin! Giggity!

Another hour of unsupervised practice has shown me that Stairway to Heaven is a but too advanced for ol' fumble fingers here.

Another hour of practice. It's like trying to polish a turd but I'm having fun, all the same :-). My fingertips hurt. That's a good sign, right...?

Got my very first yesterday - a blue Ibanez Rio. I stink, but I'm having fun!

I do miss it..... It's been like, 2 days since I last picked it up. Two lessons tomorrow though, so I will get the chance soon! :D

Will be learning to play soon just ordered mine from guitar center! #excited!
