I just picked up a Bamboo Stylus for my iPad2 and a Wacom Intuit5 for my Macbook Pro. They have this cool Bamboo paper now where it's like writing in a regular notebook and which you can turn virtual pages, print, the whole nine yards. Pretty neat. Bamboo Paper is available from the Apple Store. I suspect this is going to be more and more common. Some of the pads now can even translate (understandably, unlike Google Voice) to audio (for instance, taking notes in a class can be translated from written notes to an oral recording you can play back.) Neat-O
