Well lets see what is Evil? I watched "How Evil Are You?" on the Discovery Channel. They redid an experiment originally done in the 1950's to see if evil was a measurable thing. This was the same experiment. It was to give a person an electric shock if they answered a question wrong.Added to the drama was that at 150 volts, the person may have a heart attack. As the 'teacher' applied the voltage to the 'student' who was in the other room, the 'student' would yell in pain, at 150 volts beg for mercy. most of the 'teachers' at the1st sign of discomfort wanted to stop, but the 'doctor' told them it was essential they finish the experiment. Keep in mind the 'teacher' could stop at any point and leave. Only 2 out of 15 'teachers' said NO, I WILL NOT GO ON WITH THIS. The rest did go on reluctantly. It shows that we all have the capacity to be evil. the 'student' was an actor as was the 'doctor' the test subjects then were told what was really going on and all expressed remorse.
