:: Fantasy is better than Reality... everything is bigger than life, brighter in the heart, livelier in the mind... it's only when reality sets in that our expectation of people or the unknown is shattered with disappointment.... my thought is reality compared to fantasy just doesn't measure up. ::~☆~☆~☆~~> me.

Surely I can't be the only one who has noticed the huge amount of Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Horror/Fantasy movies and TV shows that have started to floor the market lately. They are even releasing kids movies that are more like the ones that came out in the 80s. Things like ParaNorman and Frakenweinnie are two that immediately come to mind, kids movies that are complete fantasy-horror.

I know that Hollywood tends to make things based on how they want the public to feel...and during this time of our lives when the state of affairs here at home and especially abroad, it seems like they are trying just a little too hard to keep our minds off of it.

I seem like I'm complaining, but don't get me wrong, these types of entertainment (Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Horror/horror-fantasy) are my favorite above any other kinds of visual entertainment...I just wonder how people who are completely wrapped up in their entertainment are going to feel when one day they wake up and the sh*t taking place a...
