Todd Norden Ha ha, love the bit about annoying posts. And you're right and reflect exactly what I have been thinking about +. I was laid off after a 15-year career in journalism and am trying to learn everything I can about social media for skills in a new career. Just thinking have to broaden my wings and try to know a little about it all. But I think you nailed it with the anecdote about your brother and hope to cultivate my skills as well. Gerson Monterrosa @todd_norden I'm sorry to hear you lost you job. I will say that with all social networks they are great at networking for job search, I know cause my current job was landed via linkedIn ....I'm sure you wont have a problem finding a new job. Maybe I'll see you on google+ soon ;)

Skye @allyson_outlaw :3 ... I don't like FB much either. I use it to post art for my family and people I know irl to see, but I don't like anyone I know irl... and my family can see my art anytime they want by looking at my bedroom walls. -

Webcam didn't want to cooperate with Google Hangouts today, so I had a valid reason to skip out.

We use Google Hangouts for our staff meeting and it's really uncomfortable. No one should be on a webcam for a full 2 hour meeting.

Kitty You know you can turn the cam off and still have the audio on in a hangout, right? Then you can talk, but they don't have to see you.
