Gorilla Glue is a brand of multipurpose polyurethane adhesive. It can be used for both indoor and many outdoor purposes. Gorilla Glue is manufactured by the Gorilla Glue Company of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Moisture in the air or the materials being bonded is usually sufficient to cause Gorilla Glue to cure. The glue expands while setting so it will fill minor gaps. However, the expanded glue contains air bubbles, so it cannot fill gaps as thoroughly as such glues as epoxies.

It is therefore likely to be a better glue for wood and grain, as it will be better absorbed into the wood tubules, than the more common aliphatic glues. The makers, Gorilla Group, and some of their competitors claim that their implementation is waterproof, while other brands claim only to be water-resistant. Stainability varies, though some vendors claim better stainability than other glues.

The glue became briefly infamous on July 15, 2009, when former Georgia Sen. Zell Miller suggested President Obama required "Gorilla Glue" to stay in Washington, D.C., according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The former Democrat turned conservative was immediately chided for the racial implications of choosing Gorilla Glue over the less charged brands of Crazy Glue or Elmer's Glue when speaking about America's first biracial president.
