Had green beans mixed with corn for dinner.

LUNCH :) I could eat fresh green beans everyday and never get tired of them.

I thought it was too hot yesterday, but my garden enjoyed the sun. The green beans are all popping up & even my mini bell pepper plant finally sprouted. I think the zinnias grew a foot too!

Hilled up potatoes; harvested a big salad (radishes, spinach, lettuce, herbs); uprooted bolting plants (arugula, spinach); weeded; planted bush beans, dill, & new spinach; watered; built new raised garden bed. Tired (all that squatting & sitting on the hard floor). More tomorrow assuming weather cooperates.

Had some real long ones for dinner tonight.

Steamed some green beans tonight with salt and pepper. They're in season right now.

Or........ I could cook these with some butter, much more healthier than the burger, and also cheaper! No?

Had some cooked in chicken stock with cherry wood smoked bacon and sea salt. Delicious!

with cheese and butter for today..usually I eat it as is... or with a sprinkle of sea salt and olive oil....

I love cooking them with onions and bacon. Mmmm

Just had dinner: pork chop braised with carrot, celery, onion, and green beans; and a roasted red potato. Delicious!
