Issue 7: I am not going to lie. I do not like reading about GL Corps members shooting people with guns. I'm weird that way, I guess.

I am really loving Green Lantern Corps. It is very true to its name in that it is really showing its about the Corps, it's politics, history, secrets, divisions and procedures. I have been a big fan if GL and the Corps. Way way back I was heartbroken by the destruction of the Corps in Emerald Twilight and passing a ring to Kyle. They ended the Green Lantern Corps Quarterly which I loved and didn't see why they ended it even with the main story. And I dropped comics soon after for years. I am happy that that was temporary and brought the Corps was brought back with even more depth and backstory. And this title is a great new addition to GL and I am loving the current storyline seeing consequences with Jon and what Guy will do with ah-thor-i-tay!

I love having Guy and John in the lead roles for this series! Guy cracks me up and John will be a good contrast with his serious tone; it'll be like "Lethal Weapon" in space.

Loved the book although it would totally fit on DCU's old chronology. There's no reboot at all for the GLs continuity and it feels a little weird that through only 5 years Earth already got 4 Lanterns. But anyway, good story, solid art and great characterization makes up for this little issues.
