Arguably one of THE MOST ANNOYINGLY STUPID & SELF-CENTERED & SELF-ENTITLED characters EVER created & foisted upon the audience of any self-respecting series!!!!! What was worse is that Russell T. Davies SOLD the idea of Gwen as the so-called "Heart of Torchwood" to the cast and to too many others. "Heart of Torchwood"?????!!!!!! Hardly!! This is the woman that cheated on her boyfriend, assuaged her conscience by telling her boyfriend AND then Retconning him so he wouldn't remember, she revealed the fate of a rift victim devastating both the mother and the victim despite being told even ordered NOT to reveal the truth and then she home cried on Rhys's shoulder, she also taunted Jack with her engagement clearly wanting him to claim her! She later admitted that because all the rest of the team died but she didn't she felt it proved she was SPECIAL *gag*

In Torchwood: Children of Earth, Gwen becomes much more militant due to the pressures of her job and increased leadership role.

going to rewatch torchwood. mainly the first 2 series. the other series without owen and tosh, and then the last series without Ianto were pure torture. they were awesome, but too sad.

I want to rewatch all of Torchwood! Gwen is a great character.
