I saw the limited edition Vanilla Bean Espresso at Target the other day and I had to try it!

Trish DeBroeck I liked it. I'll probably never buy it again, but I recommend it to anyone who likes coffee and coffee flavored things. The vanilla bean is mostly drowned out by the espresso, though every few spoons you can taste it.

Lavon Give the Salted Caramel Truffle a try in the carton. The caramel swirl is more balances with the sweet cream ice cream and the little truffles are so good. -

Trish DeBroeck Haagen Dazs Vanilla Bean is my all-time favorite ice cream flavor. The first time I noticed HD's smaller "pint" AND a slight price increase, I immediately went to their website to sent them a strongly worded email and mentioned not buying their brand anymore. I included my address and a few weeks later I received 2 or 3 coupons for FREE "pints"! Where do you live? I don't think I've even seen either brands over $5.

Dan Benner Thanks for letting me know about that. However, they are a mopping up the blood after the crime so to speak. I think it's doubly bad when it's a luxury item. B&J rightly jumped on the attack when HD did that.

Dan Benner It's around $5.49 a pint at most supermarkets in DC, but the off or overstocked brands you can sometimes get for $2.50!
