Shira @scott_hn My belief simply comes from the fact that there are people all over the planet who have no way to "know" of G-d and therefore cannot be held responsible for rituals, customs, rites of passage, sacrifice etc... Will they get a different fate if heaven does exits? What rules even apply to them? Christian missionaries will go and try to "save" them?? I have to believe that if if there is only one G-d then he created all of these people too. I think they don't need to be "saved" but perhaps they could use medical care etc. The concept of Yahweh has only ever been brought up by my 1 other non-Jewish friend. I believe the word is Hebrew in origin but not sure of the meaning. Back to the books for me. -
