Pay( Juscallmemrswinchester) My mom s mothers family came from Quebec!! My grandma Hopkins told me that her GGG grandmother was Blackfoot indian! She and my mom were the ones that first got me all hooked on white witchcraft and ghosts and stuff like that..Me personaly only have done alot of readin on the subject! Ive got my crystals and herbs and some talismans and oils for various simple things but the only spell I actually cast was for fertility! It was simple enuf and the 8yr old runnin around drivin me nuts right now is the results!:) -
Jyl Romain @patience_venditeli I did the family history too. Can't do much with the Irish. They came here in the late 1800's too and unfortunately there's no records to be found of GGgrandmother...she had to be here if her son was born! And GGgrandfather disappeared. Back then, no one cared if an Irishma disappeared so there's no more on him. And the name is too common for me to single out anyone. On my Mom's side, we go back to the Vikings and are also supposed to be descended from William of Normandy who took the crown of England by force. I like William...he said it was his and he went and got it. I have no paperwork of course...but the line looks good in the research I've seen. I know my mother's dutch ancestors were here in at least the 1600's but not sure when they first arrived.

Dreaming of being anywhere but Baltimore... Would love to visit the Irish countryside. For weeks, though- not just days.
-
Raw Annie @trish_debroeck I'd like to find genealogical info in the north before going south to... Anywhere, really lol. Would be nice to see the more famous locales (Galway & such) but I've a very romanticized version of Ireland in my head that I think I'll be closest to finding in the south. (or in a southerly direction lol) -
Trish DeBroeck It is a beautiful country. If you ever make it I highly recommend a long walk through Killarney National Park. -
Raw Annie @trish_debroeck thanks- I'll add that to my list! :)
