Richard Goodrich You missed my point. My fault. I am just making the observation that so much of the news reporting we get is so often sketchy at best. I am nothing like the Christian right. I hope my opinions are reasoned and diverse. Like I am suspicious of both parties and nearly all levels of government. Yet I am a long ways from Ron Paul. In My opinion Independent voters are often the only Americans who strive to find accurate information and develop their own views, untainted by party demands. Well you asked for it. LOL -
Richard Goodrich Oh and I am a Huge Israel supporter. I wish I could visit someday. -
Izzy Yes I know some, they had to leave because of Muslim persecution. Christians have been killed in Egypt, Lebanon and Darfur among other places.

And I support Israel even when they are wrong.

DOGboy They are the lesser of the many evils in the region. The so-called arab spring is really a vacuum of stability and failure of government to meet the needs of the people and not the selfish interests of the ruling elite. Israel is often caught in a no-win situation and sometimes makes bad strategic moves, but they are for sure the only stable country, relatively speaking, in the entire eastern Med. 2 years ago I spoke with my friends and they agreed Syria was going to erupt into madness due to archaic rulers in these technological times. The area is still and will be for decades wavering between religious and secular rule with no one knowing the outcome. I guess my short comment was awfully short and I understand your comment. But the MOST IDIOTIC? Wow, I would have to disagree but bow to your judgement. Sorry to have offended you, that was not my intent nor was it a legitimate statement of my true meaning. I stand corrected. Have a nice Memorial Day. -
Ashleigh Brown @richard_goodrich Its more the idiocy of saying you agree with someone even when they are wrong that was the issue. I don't understand why anyone with half a brain would ever say that. And as for the other countries in the middle east, I think if you research some if the places with a non-biased american view then you might see how manipulated we all are into believing all these places need to be like us! Sorry I might have been a tad over the top with the most idiotic statement but I still stand by my belief that it was a silly remark. -
DOGboy I am no saying I agree with them when they are wrong but I don't change my opinion at the drop of a hat. I have live on two continents speak one foreign language and have a BS in Political Science. My opinions are based on research over 35 years in Military Intelligence with an emphasis on Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran. I DO NOT hold negative feelings or opinions of these ancient civilizations. Throughout the 20th century the populations have been yanked, stretched, and manipulated by various factions and exterior forces (including the US). I am not some jingoistic, knee jerk, redneck who's expressed opinions are chest thumping for their clique. I have never nor would ever vote for GW Bush. He was like most presidents and opportunist who's honest views are subjugated to political immediacies. Again I will agree my comment was hasty and dumb. Hopefully, you will forgive my transgression and take a second look at me and my brain fitness. Sorry for offending you and again h...
