Spent an evening shooting pool, talking with him down on South Beach about 2 years before he died. He was a very nice man. Glad to have known him.

Vanessa - *Support NOH8* @mimist well, if you like writing reviews, I say you should do one for him! You deserve the guru for this page! He always seemed to have so much class & I really thought he was going to do great things some day. I was almost 10 yrs old when his father was assassinated & I will never ever forget that day as long as I live. Being in TX made it even worse as I felt like the whole country blamed us for that terrible murder. I have always hoped his sister would become a congresswoman, I think she is a very smart & kind person, as well.

mimist @vanessa_perez I was 13 when his father was assassinated. That family has had more than their share of tragedy. When Bobby was gunned down I was in shock. I had always hoped that John would go into politics some day. I think his entire extended family had class. They were the kind of people that I thought all families should be like, unfortunately when you grow up, you begin to see the realities of life. I feel like this world got cheated when John died so young. I so admired President Kennedy but I do believe his son would have surpassed him in contributing more to society. Sorry, if I seem to go on and on about him. I haven't really thought about him in a while. The memories still put a smile on my face.

Vanessa - *Support NOH8* @mimist oh yeah, I was 14 when Bobby was killed & I'll never forget that day either! It was just horrifying that 2 brothers could be so easily assassinated like that! It's just so sad that we will never see John be a greater man for our country than either his father or uncle. I have times where I think about those 3 men & wonder how different our country might be now had they all lived. Interesting to ponder for sure.
