The elegence and beauty of actress Diana Muldaur of "Law & Order" fame joins the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation as the ravishing, ethical, provoking and strong willed medical doctor, Katherine Pulaski, M.D. Muldaur previously made two guest apperances on The Original Series as two different episodic characters. As Doctor Pulaski, Muldaur adds a bit of spice to the show as the character of Pulaski is often to Data what McCoy was to Spock. Sometimes coming across as cold, Pulaski generally wasn't well recieved by fans but for some she was a joy to watch. Episodes standing out for this character include Season 2's "The Child", "Elementary, Dear Data", Unnatural Selection", "Up the Long Ladder" and "Shades of Gray." Recomended reading is TNG novel, "Strike Zone" by Peter David. Regardless if you are a Pulaski fan or not, Diana Muldaur did an outstanding job.
