Kitchen remodel starts tomorrow. All the supplies are staked up in the garage, the floor has been reinforced to handle the weight of the stoves and refrigerators and freezers. And all weekend long people asked what i was going to do without a kitchen, while they stuffed their faces with BBQ. Duh, people my BBQ rig is bigger than your car, I think i can swing two weeks without a kitchen.

i need to stop cooking so i can pack up my kitchen :P

Now cleaning kitchen floor on hands and knees...so much grout on it.

Kitchen splash tiling finished yesterday. Grouting should take no more than 2 hrs. Right. 1/4 done. It's a learned skill. I oughta be a pro by dinner time !!!!!!!!!!

All day "helping" a friend create a beautiful white subway tile back splash. It's beautiful. Tomorrow I will grout....wish me luck.

Such a wasted space ! ho-ho...

I feel like I spend most of my time in this room: Cooking, cleaning, eating, washing dishes, etc.

How I don't want to spend hours cleaning it because everyone else has gone lazy...

I think the thing I'll miss the least about the kitchen renovation project is washing dishes in the tiny bathroom sink. I hate that more than all the noise and disruption. It's such a pain.
