I don't think that I can call Jaspurr a kitten now. He is 5 1/2 months old and weighs 9.1 pounds. Going to be a big boy!

David John Carrillo Hi, sorry to bother you with something off topic. But, I need help in getting my "Guru" back for the album "We Are 138" by The Misfits. And I do not know how to send out those mass messages to all my followers that everyone does. Can you help me? :)

No sign of the shed kitties this AM as it is absolutely POURING rain. I'm hoping there's a big, dry, warm ball of felines snoozing under the shed

Raw Annie @TKeep123 what a lovely story! I spent a summer at my family's homestead in MN one year & became fast friends with a feral feline family. 3 generations were living on their own: the mama with a litter on the way, a litter of month old kittens, & a grown son with one ear. I would ride my cousin's bike to the store for kibble & supplement with the occasional sun fish from the lake (which cracked everyone up because I was a vegetarian at the time- fishing for the cats lol). The only one who was stand-offish was the one-eared boy but he warmed up to me my last few days there. That mama really seemed to appreciate my help . Thanks for sharing your story with me! -
Fred Steves @rawAnnie My pleasure and good to read your story as well. Never though about fishing for the cats....we like to have them the barn to keep the rodent population down. We did keep one kitten from the last batch and she's a sweetie, but man is she a hunter. She'll attack anything that moves! Everything from ants to rats as well as non-living items. Even grubs! Sad part is she can jump about 3 feet in the air right now, and has become very good at catching birds, so we may have to have a talk. :} I'll send good thoughts your way for your current kittens! -
Raw Annie @TKeep123 thank you- I'll keep yours (& the songbirds haha!) in my thoughts :)

Raw Annie @veewi I WANT TO TERRIBLY!!! lol. The Pauper would be irate if we brought more animals into her house (well, if she couldn't eat them, that is). And I just cannot bring myself to take a mama's babies... (she's a great mom- they ate the food I left for them & then she took them off on adventure. I'm hoping she'll bring them back this evening) -
veewi Ahh. Pauper sounds like my Isis. Very territorial. She still hasn't cozied up to our boston terrier we've had for over two years now. I totally misconstrued your check-in and naturally deciphered it as 4 cats instead of kittens (assumed one was the mama). I wouldn't want to steal the kitties away either. It's nice of you to look after them the way you are. Very laudable. -
Raw Annie @veewi thanks- it's all for selfish reasons, I assure you lol

-
Elizabeth That is heartbreaking! I am so sorry! :-( -
Jeannie Rae Warner @jeannie_rae_warner me 2 :( I grew up around all kinds of animals & Grace practically grew up @ Akron Zoo. Little Nedsy is her cuddlebug & a big comfort. Last time he was huddled under a garage table for 3 days. We'll see...
