Beginning clue #1 of "Fellowship! The Shawl" with friends from the Lord of the Rings group in Ravelry. Love LOTR, love mystery projects, so this should be win-win. Casting on a skein of Ella Rae Lace Merino in color 4 which is a lovely autumn leaf orange on 4 mm needles. Pics and details in my Ravelry notebook, user ID: bwdiaz.

Started on 2nd repeat of Sunday Swing Socks. This pattern is simple and really shows off the yarn, while still being interesting. Totally recommend it -- so far, at least.

Knitting a dishcloth for my friend who is retiring....going with a basic Mason-Dixon dishcloth.

I'm trying to begin to knit again. Attempting to cast on, I don't see how it was possible that I once knitted a sweater (minus one arm and a collar).

Bought some malabrigo sock yarn today. Started a pair of socks even though I told myself I would wait until after I finished the Reggae socks before starting mine. Oops.

Finally finished my baby hat! yay! Since I knew I didn't have the right sized needles I made it smaller than needed and it ended up bigger. I made it for a preemie/newborn and it came out for a 3-6month old. SO I'll make my real one for a preemie and it SHOULD end up a newborn size. I'm going to make it with the left over Pipsqueek yarn I had from my gloves. It'll look adorable if I get it at least MOSTLY right. Then I'll donate both to the local crisis center since my baby days are 8yrs behind me. LOL
