Craig Anderson I didn't mean this glass specifically. I meant that in general, I'm having Laphroaig on nights that I can't justify as a "special occasion". The bottle is like 3/4ths of the way finished! ;)

Helen Burton Time to contemplate why you are reaching for drink. Start looking at the sources for stress and other emotional triggers. There is something going on and you need to face it honestly.

Helen Burton A good whiskey should be allowed to linger on the tongue. Sip slowly and you will taste it longer.
If you want to get drunk, the cheap stuff is fine. Old bar trick - Customer orders a single malt. As he continues to down the drinks the bartender reduces the single malt by adding the cheapest blend he has. By the time the customer has had a fourth drink he is drinking cheap blended whiskey and is so drunk he doesn't even realize it.
A quality drink should be taken in small amounts, on special occasions, and sipped slowly to appreciate every drop.
