It's now the day after Easter and as stated, I dedicated myself to my parish, faith, family during this time of Lent. As wonderful as this was and really did give a great example to my youngest. He... more

Lacy @karene_arias_coupens I know what u mean! It was like that for me when I was off of it for a while. Sounds like I'm talking about a drug...well I guess I kinda am. lol! -
Cyberdoll, trying to catch up after Lent. @LDWin - I agree completely! Looking back it was similar to a full time job. Now I wonder if I have that much time to devote to it like before. I look at the numbers of check ins and reviews I've done. I'm amazed. Lol. -

Looking forward to walking meditation this morning, then Lenten service at church with my daughter, Heather, and lunch at the Ohio University Inn.

What are YOU doing for Lent? This pastor thinks that his congregation think that you need to: bit.ly/w7QcRu

Libby I messed my Lent up. I was going to not eat white potatoes. My endocrinologist wants me to cut out all of the white potatoes, white rice and white flour. But I messed it up this past week. -
Delly Aw, everyone messes up once in awhile. I'm not Catholic( I was for awhile) but , for some reason, I will eat chicken and vegetables! No taters, no rice and no noodles. I just don't like them anymore. Well, it may be more true to say they don't like me! LOL! Did you see what the pastor had his flock do? Funny! -
Libby I'm not Catholic, either. I have found that Lent has helped me stop or slow down on the things that I don't need or need help with. I'm a true Southerner except I don't eat much beef because I grew up with a mom who is allergic to beef. Yeah, I did see that. Hilarious!
