Raw Annie @jennifer_allen it can be expensive because of all the supplementation some 'gurus' push on people but when you consider that you're replacing lesser quality foods with higher quality foods (& when you find out where to look for better values) the price is comparable :)

Steeping it a bit differently. Adding the milk first, then the hot water. And hub accidentally picked up vanilla almond milk. Makes my chai all the more lovely :)

Raw Annie @jalachan haven't made chai from scratch in quite awhile but love black pepper in it :) so when I buy my bags I like Maté Factor or Yogi. I was steeping the bags in water then adding milk but feel like the taste is richer when I steep using milk & water. Hope that makes sense! (I feel like it doesn't, really)

So delicious! The first time I had Masala Chai was in London in 2007. I was HOOKED!! I couldn't find it in the states. Still can't find it. I must order some from the UK!

Raw Annie Up & Atom Chai is amazing. It's a loose tea so you control your spice factor. Isabella Catalog used to sell it. I also really enjoy Yogi Chai & Maté Factor Chai (both are bagged- Yogi has black tea & MF uses maté) :)

House is clean, dinner is in the crockpot, showered and cleaned all the chemicals off, now to sit down for a fraction of a second and enjoy my chai...yum
