Codac has pushed me beyond the limits from which I can rebound without assistance. Having my "psychiatrist" rail at me was horrible, but having my case manager saying that the ART (Adult Recovery Team) meeting hurt her feelings was lubricious. It made more sense when I found out that Codac hired her right out of college and all of her "experience" is the 5 years she's spent with Codac. You want to know why mental patient go off and start shooting people? Places like Codac put them in a situation where they are willing to do literally anything to make the pain being inflicted by that agency stop. I've started hallucinating again.

I just hope they will put me back in the hospital until I can get stable again.

Let them know what you take, please! www.facebook.com/CODACTucson

Martie @robin_hester my sentiments exactly! Sometimes it changes ur personality thru no fault of ur own. Its the illness and sometimes u can't control it. I get frustrated with my friends sometimes. Im only asking for them to try to understand a little or if not just be supportive...just being there is sometimes all that is needed. : )

Di Marshall Well, they certainly turned polite yesterday. The doctor is recommending that I be released early and they are going to start sending someone to me rather than requiring me to come to them.

Don't ever let on that you have one. People will stop taking you seriously, they will discount your thoughts and opinions, and any unpleasant feelings you have will automatically be chalked up to your illness, so you'll always feel like it's totally your own fault if things aren't going well for you. Will I get a turn at 'normalcy' before I expire? Haven't had one so far in 33 years...even if I didn't know it at the time.

So the doctor finally decided to see what the guy was listening to,
so he put his ear up to the wall and listened.
              He heard nothing.
So he turned to the mental patient and said,
              "I don't hear anything."
              The mental patient said,
"Yeah, I know. It's been like that for months!"
