              Monosodium Glutamate (MSG): The FDA allows 20 "pseudo" names for it including autolyzed yeast extract, free glutamate, glutamic acid, soy lecithin, calcium caseinate, hydrolyzed corn, hydrolyzed soy protein, and maltodextrin to name a few.

              Just because a product says "No MSG" doesn't mean it's not in there!

              I cant eat anything that has MSG in it, it makes me sick and gives me headaches.

                Cyberdoll, trying to catch up after Lent. @Christine - I had a friend in Japan that would go into hysterics every time she would digest MSG. Unfortunately, it was widely used in the food there and it wasn't listed. We only found out about it while dining out in Fussa. The other patrons were already staring since we were foreigners, it didn't help when she started freaking out. Let's just say we didn't go back to that restaurant again, lol.

                cure_kitty @luigilong @artichoke8 Yes it's sad to see that MSG is still in the snacks & other processed foods! I really hate it myself, I get a really weird eye ball headache if I eat something & it's in there. But I am glad that most Chinese Take-out have taken it out of their foods.
