When I viewed MOTOWN night on DWTS I was so very excited! @sp4joelleeyork @joelyork48 Esp Martha Reeves and Smokey Bell Robinson. And seeing Mr Gordy !

We would go to the roller rink and skate to Motown. I was so in love with Mary Wilson I could die

People do not know that Smokey was not just an artist but a very very important person in management at Motown

You knew how wonderful and talented black people were because of Motown. And Gladys Knight was a dream

Not just the women I loved The Temptations, Four Tops, Stevie Wonder and Smokey Bell Robinson

I earned my own money and I spent a lot of it on Motown. I was so thrilled I did not need Playboy I would look at my Supremes Album covers and dream of Mary Wilson

Motown was like boot camp. They all got lessons on how to act! I love them all

So love that they were given guidelines of how to handle themselves in the entertainment industry. What happened? Where is the artist management. Prime example - Chris Brown. He needs better managers... more
