4 shops performed today, 2 reports submitted, 2 to go...

I made a couple hundred dollars last month & we sure needed it.

2 reports down, 3 more to go today. Grace complains about my work, but she kinda likes the income...

got a mystery shop to do in a half an hour or so. Man, they are killing me.I wasn't going to do any this month, but they called and caught me in a weak moment.

Well during my three mystery shops yesterday, two of them were stellar with customer service, helpful hints, upselling they could not do enough for me despite the busy day they were having. They got 10 out of 10 ratings from me. The last one, I was there for 10 minutes, they never even acknowledged me. They got a 1 of of 10 from me. I can be treated like crap at Walmart. Not some pricey place that sells childrens clothing that they grow out of too fast. So good for the busy two, they helped other people at the same time and went and got sizes for me, did all sorts of nice things. and one of the stores OMG they were gorgeous!!! One dude looked he was chiseled by Michel Angelo.

I do a good bit of mystery shopping in Anchorage. It doesn't pay a whole lot, but for 10 minutes work, you can make $12 or up to $20. I find it really is a good sales tool for the store I go into. I have been in retail sales for close to 30 years for one thing or another. Positive feedback is essential. i never go in thinking I'm going to bust them doing this or that. My attitude is let's see how well they do at their job, let the client know that this store met and exceeded expectations. That is always my hope. I always give a kudo when a job is done I dress as a customer for the store I'm shopping .I did a shop at an upscale jewelry store for wedding rings. I asked the associate to see a bezel setting and some loose diamonds. She actually left the diamonds on the counter with me ALONE while she went to get a darker cloth for contrast. I had to ask for that. Not a good report. Otherwise, I've always had pleasant experiences & helped the client serve the public better.
