Picked up 4 of his books at the library today: The Day I Swapped My Dad For Two Goldfish (which littlest loved), Fragile Things, & 2 graphic novels- Coraline (yes, it's absolutely different with this many illustrations lol), & Neverwhere. I met Neil at Forbidden Planet when Sandman was only at issue 12. He was signing and what not from 12-2 with another writer (I forget whom it was). Anyway, I got there EXACTLY at 12. NO ONE was on line. I found Neil and that other writer just chatting it up. I brought Sandman issues 1-3 for him to sign thinking that would be asking too much. Neil looks at me and says gleefully, "Heck, you should have brought all twelve issues! I would've signed all of 'em..." Go figure... :)

He is one of my favorite authors, and I've read every book, which was translated. Can't wait to read another one. I wish I can read them without translation. He is brilliant.
